Feeling thoroughly comfortable. At the Langwies, this also means enyoing good food of course. Head chef Rupert Herzog and his team are fully committed to providing just that. His creations are regularly awarded a Gault & Millau toque and a Falstaff Fork, and make our restaurant a Tennegau El Dorado for gourmets and connoisseurs. Our menus are a combination of down to earth quality and innovation. Local specialities meet flavours from all over the world and popular classics, which creates some surprising new discoveries. All of this good food is prepared with fresh home-made ingredients and the best the region has to offer. Naturally. After all, we have always been surrounded by the good things in life.

FARM TO TABLE? we take it literally!

 

At the Langwies, local produce is far more than just a modern catchphrase. We prefer to practise sustainability, rather than to talk about it. The land that surrounds the Langwies has been farmed with care and respect for the animals and nature for over 100 years. Take the eggs we serve for breakfast, for example. They are collected from our "hen hotel" fresh every day, still warm from the hens, because the closest option is often simply the best.


Our Oberlangwiesgut farm covers 35 hectares of forest and meadows, and is purely a grassland farm. Our 45 cows and 30 porkers are fed fresh grass, hay, maize silage and pomace and supply premium-quality meat that has also been awarded the AMA Gütesiegel quality seal.

We offer the perfect setting for honouring that special moment, and treating all guests to the dishes created by our award-winning kitchen team.
